Benefits            

If you complete two years of AFJROTC you will receive a Certificate of Training.  With this certificate and the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor's endorsement the Air Force, Army and Navy will enlist you as an Enlisted Grade-Two.  If you enroll in Air Force Senior ROTC you will receive credit for the first semester of the military science curriculum.

If you complete three or four years of AFJROTC you will receive a Certificate of Completion.  With this certificate and the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor's endorsement the Air Force, Army and Navy will enlist you as an Enlisted Grade-Three.  The Marine Corps will enlist you as an Enlisted Grade-Two.  If you enroll in Air Force Senior ROTC you will receive credit for the first year of the military science curriculum.

As an AFJROTC graduate you may compete for Senior AFROTC scholarships that are reserved for JROTC cadets.  This reduces the number of competitors and improves you chances of receiving a scholarship.  If you apply for an Service Academy appointment and all other factors being equal: grades, SAT scores, community involvement, etc., the fact that you were a JROTC cadet will give you the edge over the competition.

Even if you decide not to pursue a military career, the AFJROTC program will help you for the rest of your life. Our goal is to make you a better citizen, instill self-motivation, self-discipline and teamwork.  These skills will ensure you success in your post high school endeavors.
