Literacy Tutor Workshop

 Friday, November 18

9-11 a.m.

John B. Wright Elementary School Library

4311 E. Linden (Columbus north of Pima)

This workshop, presented by Reading Specialist Gretchen Roward, will provide participants with strategies and skills for working as reading coaches and literacy tutors with TUSD elementary students.

Topics include:

Interactive Read-Alouds: Selecting and using high-quality books to model reading strategies and engage young readers

Reading Coaching: Important strategies for supporting students in their efforts to become fluent readers.
