Principal’s Message – Mrs. Lisa Langford
We Are Electric!!!
Dear Collier Families,
On behalf of the students at Collier Elementary School, thank you
for your generous tax credit donations of $28,500 . The students at Collier
will benefit from your contribution both now and in the future. In
times of limited resources, donations such as yours make an incredible
difference in what's available to our students. Our art program encourages
students to explore, experiment, create and discover the potential of the
creative self. The goal of our physical education program is to help
students enjoy achievements of optimum physical growth and development.
In our music classes, we feature songs, instrumental music development,
rhythm, and musical notation. Our Spanish classes encourages students to
learn everyday vocabulary and an appreciation of other cultures. Each
year, we take our children on a variety of field trips that allow them to
gain a broader view of the world. Your generous supports ensures that
our students enjoy these opportunities each year.
This year Again, we appreciate your donations and supports.
Without you we could not offer opportunities for students that enhance their
social and emotional growth and make them well rounded people.

REPORTING ABSENCES Please remember to call the school or email Terry at terry.davies@tusd1.org if your child will be absent. The attendance line can be called 24/7 and left a message if we are not in the building. State law mandates that I continue to call all numbers on your emergency card until we find your child. Please make it easy for us by calling and letting us know! Thanks. Reminder If your child is going to go home on the bus with a friend he needs to bring a note from home to be stamped by the office and presented to the bus driver. The bus drivers will not let a child on the bus without a note from the parent stamped by the office. Thanks.
