Drachman Montessori's School Council Drachman's School Council Meets on the Second Wednesday of Each Month at 5:00! The Drachman Montessori Magnet School Council is an elected governing body prescribed by Arizona law and monitored by TUSD. The council's duties include coordination of annual school goals according to Proposition 301 performance pay standards, oversight of current school wide programs such as any grants or programs, and participation in staff interview committees. The Council consists of 3 parent representatives elected by the Parent Teacher Association, 3 certified staff members who are elected by their colleagues, one classified staff member elected by colleagues, one community member appointed by the principal, and the school Principal. Public notices announcing School Council meetings appear in the school entries at least one week before the meeting time. Meetings are open to the public.
