The 2011-12 School Site Council
What We Do
Welcome to the Henry Elementary
School Site Council Website. Our constitution was approved in October,
2002 by the TUSD/TEA Joint Committee for Shared Decision Making. The
Henry Site Council is currently operating in Phase Two of the TUSD
Phases of Implementation. This means that we have written our
constitution, we have begun operation under the constitution, and we
have maintained accurate records of our meetings and decisions.
Using data concerning student test
results, we participate in developing and approving the Henry School
Accountability Plan and in writing specific school goals for each school
year. We are entrusted with the responsibility of making decisions
concerning the awarding of “301” monies that have been set aside for
faculty school leadership positions. We have also formed two
committees, the Tax Credit Committee and the Interview Committee.
