AFTER
SCHOOL PROGRAMS
We are
pleased to offer two after
school programs this year at
Holladay. As always, the
specialists will offer a variety
of classes this year in their
area of expertise. Those
classes are Monday, Tuesday,
Thursday and Friday until 4:10
p.m. Beginning at the end
of those classes and at
dismissal on Wednesdays (1:45
p.m.) KIDCO will be available
until 6 p.m. each day. If
you are interested in KIDCO, you
will need to sign up with Tucson
Parks and Rec. I hope the
addition of KIDCO will help you
have a safe place for your child
to be if you can't be home when
Extended Day is over.
Please remember, that there are
no classes and only one bus run
the day before a holiday,
although KIDCO will still have
coverage until 6 p.m. on those
days.
REGISTRATION AND VISITATION
Please feel
free to come by and visit the
school on August 13th. The
school will be open from 8-
3:00. You can walk around
the school and visit with your
child's teacher and people will
be on hand to answer any
questions you may have. If
you are interested in applying
for free or reduced meals, the
13th is also the time to do that.
The first day of school is
August 17th.
REMINDER
Parents,
please make sure that you sign
in at the front office when
visiting your child, child?s
teacher or otherwise. A
visitor?s sticker must be worn
at all times while on school
premises.
It is important to keep our
students and school safe.
WE ALL WIN
WITH THE
ARIZONA TAX CREDIT PROGRAM!!
Take control of how your tax
dollars are spent. Send your tax
credit donation to Holladay
Magnet School. Here are three
good reasons to participate in
the Arizona Tax Credit program:
It will cost you nothing...
It helps students...
It's easy!
Student
Pick-up
Due to the dangerous situations
with the pick up of students
after School in front of the
building, parents will need to
pick up their children in the
bus bay on Fremont along the
west side of the building.
Students riding the bus will be
released from the north gate.
Walking students and ones being
picked up by parents will be
released from the west door. If
you need to park across the
street on Fremont, the children
must walk to the crosswalk to
cross to the other side. Please
don?t have them run across the
street to the car.
