I'm happy to introduce you to Peter Howell Elementary School, which was built in 1952.
We are a proud part of the Tucson Unified School District.
Our school provides high quality educational experiences for all students who call Peter Howell THEIR School! We have approximately 360 students for the 2014-2015 school year. Students come from the surrounding neighborhood, as well as from our extended neighborhood which is located near Campbell Avenue and 34th Street. We also accept Open Enrollment students. We are delighted to be registered through Ben’s Bells as a Kind Campus.
Many programs and services are offered to students and their families, including GATE (Gifted and Talented Education), Exceptional Education, music and art integrated instruction, after school tutoring, math club, ping pong club, Student Council, Good News after school club, cross country, basketball, track, Seeds Gardening Program, Reading Seed, and Restorative Practice.
Our PTO is extremely active with several exciting events throughout the year. One of our main goals is to raise $2,000 so that we can add a Be Kind mural to our school this year. Keep a lookout for all the activities all year long!
We always love to have visitors and invite you to stop by to see the great things happening at Peter Howell.
We look forward to your visit!
