Welcome Back Maldonado Mountain Lion Families! It’s hard to imagine that half of the school year is already gone. We have experienced a terrific first semester at Maldonado Elementary and are looking forward to a great new year! It is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with your children on a daily basis. I hope that during the winter break, each of you had time to relax and enjoy some extra time with your children. Parenting Classes Maldonado Elementary is pleased to have been awarded a grant from The Parent Connection. Therefore, we will be having a six-week parenting class every Monday starting January 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the library. Issues discussed will include decreasing homework battles, discipline that makes sense, and effective parenting techniques. Please consider attending. Parenting classes in Spanish will be offered in April. |
