Coffee with the Principal Friday, December 7, 2007. Coffee with the Principal from 8:00-8:30 a.m. This is a great opportunity for parents to meet with the principal informally to talk about any issues and the development of our school as a whole. I encourage parents to attend! Café con la Directora El viernes, 7 de diciembre de 2007. Café con la Directora a las 8:00 de la mañana. Esta es una buena oportunidad para que los padres informalmente hablen con la directora sobre temas escolares de nuestra escuela. Animo a padres que atiendan! Recycling Plastic Bag Contest Congratulations to all the Kindergarten students who won our “plastic bag contest” by bringing in 3,213 plastic bags. Also congratulations to all the Third grade students who came in second place with 3,195 bags! Great job!!! Winter Break We recognize that during this holiday season, as well as throughout the year, our students and families celebrate different traditions with diverse beliefs. I wish you all a safe and happy holiday season and a prosperous new year! We hope to see all of your for our Winter Program on Dec. 18th. Please be on the look out for specific times! |

We would like to thank Laura medina’s husband, Jesse, for all his hard work in replacing the damaged ceiling tiles in the cafeteria. His effort and diligence has allowed the after school program and cafeteria to pass their health department inspection. A big Thank You goes out from the Maldonado community ! |

Family Literacy/Story Night—Held on 11/20 in the cafeteria. We had a great turnout, the potluck was awesome, and the music and stories were great. Thank you to everyone who attended, donated Food , cooked turkeys, and to the orchestra. Please plan on attending the Winter Program on 12/18. |
