A special Maldonado Mountain Lion “ROAR of gratitude” from the      

Principal’s desk goes out to all the people who help make Maldonado    

Elementary a safe, stimulating and learning place.  Included are all the

teachers, monitors and  parent volunteers who help make Maldonado     

Elementary an environment  conducive to learning.  A special thank you goes out to Mr.Garcia and Ms. Kendall, our crossing guards for ensuring that our students who walk to and from school cross the street safely.  Another big thank you goes out to the Kraus family for the many hours of dedication to our school newsletter and school courtyard. A huge roar goes out to Alma and Joel Corona for their hard work and  commitment to running and making our PTA so successful. Lastly, I’d like to send out a special thanks to Rosanna DiCenso for her incredible artistic contribution to our stunning office mural and marvelous desert landscaped courtyard.

Coffee with the Principal

Friday, November 2, 2007.  Coffee with the Principal from 8:00-8:30 a.m. This is a great       opportunity for parents to meet with the principal informally to talk about any issues and the  development of our school as a whole.  I encourage parents to attend!

El viernes, 2 de noviembre de 2007. Café con la Directora a las 8:00 de la mañana.  Esta es una buena oportunidad para que los padres informalmente hablen con la directora sobre temas escolares de nuestra escuela.  Animo a padres que atiendan!

A big thank you goes out to Luis and Terri Lara for the repairing of our stage curtain. They have sewn the tear at the bottom and they have been and are continuing to reinforce prior tears.  Thank you Luis and Terri from all of us here at Maldonado for continuing to keep our school a beautiful place to be!
