Welcome Back! What a wonderful beginning to our 20th year at Maldonado Elementary. It was delightful to see families back and motivated to make another successful school year. A special thanks goes to all the parents who made sure that their child practiced their reading over the summer months. Other special thanks goes to all the parents who participated in the Ice Cream social and Open House. Coffee with the Principal Friday, September 7, 2007 will be our first “Coffee with the Principal” from 8:00-8:30 a.m. This is a great opportunity for parents to meet with the principal informally to talk about any issues, and the development of our school as a whole. I encourage parents to attend. As A Title I School, our School Improvement Plan will focus on the following topics; Reading, Writing, Math, Technology, Attendance, and School Community Outreach.
