PRINCIPAL’S VISION STATEMENT:

      To ensure that all students acquire high levels of academic achievement through a sound leadership that remains focused on quality education, equity and a caring environment.  

       I am honored to have been selected as the new Maldonado Principal.  I am looking forward to a great new year.  As the Instructional Coach last year at Maldonado and a teacher for seven years prior, I have had the opportunity to get to know and love the Maldonado community. 

     I invite you to be involved in the process of preparing our students for their future academic and social challenges.  Whether it be in a classroom, a committee, on the playground, participating in our school’s literacy project, or by phone or email.  We have a great year ahead of us and therefore it is essential that we all connect and take part in this critical journey as well as in celebrating our student’s lifelong successes. 

     As A Title I School, our School Improvement Plan will focus on the following topics; Reading,  Writing, Math, Technology, Attendance, and of course School Community.
