Tucson Unified School District Wants Your Opinion!

A survey for parents will be conducted to provide input regarding preference on a new calendar for the 2012/2013 school year.  The electronic survey will be on the main TUSD web page this Friday, January 13th.  Please go to http://www.tusd1.org/ to participate in making a choice for TUSD students.  A brief overview is as follows:

      1.       Calendar A has both a Fall Break and a Spring Break

      2.       Calendar B only has a Spring Break connected to the Easter break because Easter happens to fall in March in 2013.

Keep Celebratory Food at Home...Please!

We do not allow cupcakes, cookies and or birthday cakes at school.  Please do not send them in with your student. You will be called and asked to pick up these items.

Pistor Panthers Need Your Help to Keep the Sports Program Alive!

Help the Pistor Panthers Sports Program.  The school needs YOUR help in keeping the sports program here at Pistor.  With your help and tax dollar credits, students will have a chance to participate in sports.  Help us keep these kids in sports at Pistor.  Use your tax dollars and keep the Sports Program here at Pistor.

A Note In Regards to the Air Conditioning

Pistor has had an A/C problem since the summer.  Beginning the first week of school, we have had a temporary cooler cooling the building, while parts are being ordered to fix our system.  The facilities department is working on this and checks to see if classrooms are maintaining the correct temperatures.  We will let you know through the website, when the problem is corrected.
