Have you ever thought to yourself, "Boy, if I were a teacher, I would sure do things differently."
Well, if I know students, and I think I do, EVERYONE has had that thought pass through their mind at some point. If so, then this project is for YOU!!
Your team will create, organize and present a complete multimedia lesson on the subject assigned to your peers.
Each group will be assigned one part of an overall subject to teach the rest of the students. Your group will also be required to design, administer and grade a test based on your presentation (PS: You will have to ALSO take your OWN group's test).
Total time![]()
· 40-50 minute presentation
· 20 minute test
· 10 minute evaluation and analysis
First: Assign jobs to team members (Everyone contributes to report)
Group Leader Assignment Manager Visual Aide Coordinator Test Administrator Individual Presenter/Reporter Roll Play Coordinator (if applicable)
Second: Assign Sub-topics to your reporters( Everyone is a reporter)

Day One:
| Divide the class into working groups - one group for each decade | |

| Copy job worksheet for each person - complete and turn into the Group Leader to be placed in the "your Assignment Notebook" in the group pages/ or Atutor files. |

| Complete your individual responsibilities as per your group assignment. Check with your Group Leader and Assignment Manager for further information. |

You have just completed an incredible amount of work in a short amount of time.....phew!! Looking back, you should feel a real sense of accomplishment for your final lesson.
| Imagine if you had to produce a lesson for every day - like a TEACHER :) I must say, it is much easier than what you just experienced. As you develop skillls for this type of activity, you become more proficient in creating this type of presentation. | |
| If you are considering entering the teaching field, this was a valuable lesson. You learned how to organize and present an body of information and hopefully teach a group of students. | |
| If you are considering working in 'corporate America,' you will also be using these skills again. Just be thankful you have a 'jump start' on those who have not done this type of assignment!! |
