BIOGRAPHY

I grew up in a small town in New Mexico called Silver City.  I have a bachelor’s degree in Geology and a master’s degree in Hydrogeology.  After working in those fields for a couple of years I decided to try teaching and have never regretted my choice. I live with my wife, two boys, and two dogs.  In our spare time we love to go to movies, travel, read, and play with the dogs.  I have been at Safford since 1987. 

In Technology Explorations we study engineering, technology, and careers. We cover units in Technological Resources, themes in Technology, the “TechnoMind,” manufacturing, construction, communications, and transportation. Most of our work consists of lab and computer projects.  I have sponsored Safford’s MESA team since 1992.
