Welcome to the official website of Sahuaro High School's publications club, Mountain Shadows News.
While Mountain Shadows News has always provided Sahuaro with complete coverage of the news through our monthly print publication, Mountain Shadows, it has never before been able to instantly publish and distribute this material, often reducing the effectiveness of the school newspaper.
Don't worry, we'll still be putting out the award-winning print version of Mountain Shadows our school community has come to believe in and trust. But with our new website this same sort of communication- the kind that keeps our leadership accountable, our society informed, and our citizens entertained- can happen instantaneously, without the 1-2 week delay caused by printing.
Because at Mountain Shadows News, we don't just shadow the news- we cover it .

Would you like to be "with the press?"
Mountain Shadows News is currently seeking qualified applicants
to join the publications class, and for the first time is publically opening
its doors to freshman as well. If you have good writing, photography, layout,
customer service, advertising, or computer skills email us a short note that
you are interested. We'll have a staff member contact you and work with
you and administration to get you into the class.
