Volunteer Opportunities

The Counseling staff at Sahuaro has discussed the importance of community involvement and volunteerism throughout your high school career – through classroom presentations and in individual planning. Often times scholarship committees, admissions staff, college recruiters, potential employers, and community agencies look at a student’s record for community and volunteer activities. It is important that you not only excell academically but actively participate in your community either through volunteer and/work experience. It is important to document your involvement including places and persons of contact and the hours you have served.  Below you will find a list of volunteer search sites and several local organizations that are seeking teen volunteers.
