Tolson Elementary is a Performing Plus elementary school, surrounded by the beautiful desert and mountains of Tucson, Arizona. Our hard working students are known for their strong character values and high achievement in academics. Some of our notable programs include the successful TIMSS mathematics model, Opening the Mind through the Arts (OMA) program, the Nurtured Heart Approach (a positive discipline model), and an active Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program. Special events each year include the Spelling Bee, Science Fair, Field Day, Winter and Spring performances, and additional themed performances within the primary grades. KIDCO is also housed in our building after school.
