I would like to share with you our school's mission, vision, and values.  At Tully, we are focusing on Reading and School Safety.  If a student can read, they can do anything, and if they feel safe they can do it even better.  Please join us this year as focus on our year of success!  You will see a chart that summarizes Tully's progress over time on our AIMS test.  You will notice that we made significant improvement on our fourth and fifth grade Reading, fifth grade Writing, and fourth grade Math scores.  Thank you for all of your support.

Our Mission:

    The mission of Tully Elementary Magnet School, in partnership with parents and the greater community, is to assure that our Strategic Data focuses on every students and to put in place an effective reading and school safety program that promotes high academic achievement.

Our Vision:

    Tully is a professional learning community that strengthens reading instruction through improved and continuous professional staff development, it provides positive learning programs, activities, and role models who support and address the needs of every child's safety through our school wide safety program.

We Value:

• Implementation of a reading curriculum that fosters all areas of reading development.

• The consistent use of our school wide reading block with the reading adoption and supplementary resources.

• On going reading assessments that promote our student' learning and their development.

• Collaborative relationships between staff and parents to create lifelong readers.

• Promoting positive relationships among all students and adults.

• Our school wide Bully-Proof Awareness program.

• Our Positive Behavior Reinforcement Program.

• All Tully staff being proactive with a focus on our school safety program which supports the health and safety of students and have measures in place to protect students and staff.
