TUSD ADOPTS 2012-2013 SCHOOL CALENDAR
The Tucson Unified School District Governing Board voted on January 24 to adopt a new calendar for the 2012-2013 school year. The calendar reflects new vacation periods, including a full spring break in March and a new one-week fall break in October. The changes were prompted after receiving input from parents, community groups and schools who sought an improved calendar for students. The 2012-2013 school year will begin August 2, 2012 and end May 23, 2013.
