Proudly Sing the Jaguar Spirit Song

Felizardo VALENCIA
Middle School

On, on Valencia, mighty Jaguars
brave and strong.

All the rest must stand aside,
as we sing our victory song.

So give three cheers for the black and gold.
May the Jaguars forever reign.

We're the first. We're the best,
'cause we maximize success.

Conorgullo, Valencia !

In 1994, Valencia Middle School was opened and named for Felizardo L Valencia, a long-time TUSD high school teacher and administrator, who inspired and influenced many lives.

The school was built at a cost of $8.1 million. The square footage is almost 77,000 square feet. It has a capacity of 600 students.

The student population has steadily increased. Enrollment once topped 1000 so portable classrooms began appearing on campus about 2002 to accommodate the rising population.

In October 2008, a construction project for a sixth grade wing was completed. That's when the teachers and students moved into the new addition. Current population is about 700 students.
