Power Paws

Warren Elementary students take part in a behavior program that focuses on positive behavior. An important part of this program is called Warren Power Paws. All teachers and staff are given slips to hand out to students that are observed showing outstanding behavior and judgment. They can be selected to receive a power paw if they are being safe, responsible, respectful and/or ready to learn.

One student per class is selected and  acknowledged at Warren's weekly Monday morning community assembly. They are then rewarded in the afternoon with a special treat and prize from the principal.

Students can also receive a Warren Effort Bracelet. Students will get these when they have shown exceptional effort and/or improvement. If you see a student wearing the bracelet, ask them why he/she received such an honor and congratulate them on a job well done!
