Banks Elementary is focused on being
a desert-environmentally friendly school

Banks has recently had new energy efficient lights installed in the cafeteria. New motion-detection light switches have been installed in restrooms and workrooms. More "green" projects are in the works!

Banks students are doing many things to reduce, reuse and recycle.  We turn out the lights when we leave a room to conserve energy.  We don't waste water when we wash our hands.  We use the recycle bins for paper scraps, plastic bottles and aluminum cans.  We use white lapboards to practice our writing and math to reduce our paper usage. What are you doing to be environmentally friendly?
