During the months of August and September all students at Borton will be participating in a series of classes in which the dramatic arts will serve as a basis for developing mindfulness skills. In particular, the students will be engaging with age-appropriate storytelling and theater games, as well as hands-on activities, to help train such valuable abilities as focus, emotional regulation and interpersonal awareness. At the same time, teachers will participate in a series of professional development workshops that will give them a deeper understanding of mindfulness and guidance on how to take core techniques from the student classes and reinforce them throughout the year.

We want to thank the Borton Site Council for approving the Tax Credit funds to help us come together as a kind community.
