Welcome to the new school year.
I am pleased to announce that we have a new addition to the
Charger Battalion team--Sergeant First Class (retired) Teddy DeSouza. He
is the person I have been waiting for.
SFC DeSouza comes to us with a vast amount of recruiting
experience. He last job on
active duty was the Recruiting Station Commander at Irvington/ I-19 .
He has high standards, a positive attitude and cares about the
future of our cadets. SFC
DeSouza has three daughters ranging in age from three to sixteen. I am
really excited to have him as my wingman.
For the parents who were able to attend the JROTC parent/teacher
night, thank you for your support.
Also, I am very pleased that the University of Arizona Army ROTC
is so supportive of us.
Major Walters is allowing Cadet Captain Crews to be our liaison officer
to the senior Army ROTC at the university.
He visited our classes and the cadets really seemed to enjoy
hearing about his stories and military adventures.
