TUSD ART Parent Partnership

Come join the fun in spending some time with your child while bringing art to the whole classroom! 

This unique program trains volunteers to deliver special lessons in classrooms. Using lessons developed by the TUSD visual arts department, training is provided in the key elements of a particular artist (Matisse, Monet, O’Keefe, Picasso, etc). The focus of the classroom lesson then becomes that artist. Each classroom needs two parents to donate their time and willingness to teach and assist the creative art lessons. It requires a few hours once a month to learn the lesson and then some time to deliver the lesson/experience to the children.
