SUMMER! 2012

Principal’s Message – Mrs. Lisa Langford
We Are Electric!!!
Dear Collier Family,
It is hard to believe that in just a few weeks we will be wishing
one another a happy summer. It
has been exciting watching our children grow academically, socially and
emotionally throughout the year.
We have shared so many fun and wonderful activities this year.
The talent show was fabulous, our monster mash a great family event
and the jog – o-thon a community building activity that benefited our school
and students. Our track team
captured fifth place in the All City Meet.
We are so proud of them and their accomplishment.
The children are beginning to talk about day camps and sleep overs,
family vacations and visits to grandparents.
We celebrate another successful year and look forward to the
adventures of the summer.
This year we share our summer wish list for our students. We hope
that learning, discovering new things, and having fun with friends and
families are part of your summer plans.
We can’t wait hear all the exciting summer stories when we return
next year. Bring in your stories
or pictures and we will post them on
our bulletin boards throughout the school.
We want to see all the adventures you did this summer.
Please keep the posters, stories or pictures to 8 ½” x 11” so we have
room for everyone! Enjoy your
summer!!

REPORTING ABSENCES Please remember to call the school or email Terry at terry.davies@tusd1.org if your child will be absent. The attendance line can be called 24/7 and left a message if we are not in the building. State law mandates that I continue to call all numbers on your emergency card until we find your child. Please make it easy for us by calling and letting us know! Thanks. Reminder If your child is going to go home on the bus with a friend he needs to bring a note from home to be stamped by the office and presented to the bus driver. The bus drivers will not let a child on the bus without a note from the parent stamped by the office. Thanks.
