A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier – Ishmael Beah

 Extra credit assignment for sophomores only:  Write a reflection of what you learned about the culture of Sierra Leone based on the reading.  Be sure to include direct quotations.  You should also be sure to include the differences between how it was during the time of war and how it was before the war.  Worth up to 30 points.
