Fruchthendler's mission is to build a caring community of citizens for the 21st Century by broadening academic, social, and community horizons. Our supportive school community truly lives and breathes our mission each and every day. We achieve our goals through:
- Continuously improving instructional practice to create a community of students excelling in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
- Using technology as a tool to engage student inquiry, higher-order thinking skills, cooperation, and innovation.
- Providing a well-rounded education that includes physical education, music, art, drama, and Spanish instruction. Individual interests are met through a variety of extracurricular activities, such as Chess club, Mad Science, KidzArt, and Track and Field events.
- Involving students in learning the fundamental responsibilities of good citizenship and leadership.
- Forging partnerships with parents and community that extend beyond traditional participation to a more intense, personal, and proactive sharing of skills and advocacy.
- Offering continuous professional development that advances our understanding through current research, and nurtures the personal growth of our teachers and staff.
