Welcome to Fruchthendler Elementary School. This 2007-08 school year will be a rewarding and educational experience for your child(ren). The PTA at Fruchthendler actively supports the teachers and students through many varied programs such as Chess Club, Peace Patrol, SAVE, and Track/Field, as well as sponsoring fun community “get-togethers” such as Family Fun Nite, our Rodeo Breakfast and annual Art Show. We also encourage academics with our Spelling Bee, and Science Fair.
The PTA raises funds to directly impact our children, their classrooms and teachers, in such areas as technology and classroom subsidies. We support classroom enrichment activities such as monthly art programs, Artists in Residence, field trip buses, and the talent show.
We invite you to become involved~ We have a multitude of volunteer opportunities available, at school and at home, for anyone interested. Let’s continue Fruchthendler’s Excelling tradition. Please read the volunteer committee descriptions, and give us the benefit of your talent and ideas.
