Scottish Country Dance

Come Join Us!
Scottish Country Dancing is an energetic, traditional and historical form of social dancing, danced to driving reels, lively jigs, and elegant strathspeys. It improves personal, social, and emotional development through dancing with a partner, working as part of a team, and being supportive of others while progressing through dances. It also helps develop a sense of rhythm and coordination, and the ability to move to and appreciate music. And it's FUN!
Bob Koehler will be the instructor. He taught school in Scotland, and when he returned to the states, he started a Scottish Country Dance program. In his 30 years of instruction, many students learned and participated in performing for organizations in Tucson. For more information, please contact Bob Koehler at TouchingTucson@comcast.net.
