What is the PTA?
The PTA is a group of Parents and Teachers. Our vision is to strive
to unite Parents, Teachers and Community Members in providing quality
education to all children at Grijalva Elementary. Our mission is
to enhance the scholastic experience at school. Our function in the past has been to provide funds for learning activities such as field trips. During the AIMS test we provided snacks for the children. Also, in conjunction with teachers, we put together the Fall Carnival and other fundraisers which generated money for the school. This year we hope to do the same, and much more, but we need your input and ideas on how to best help the students and teachers.
How to Join PTA membership is easy. The cost is $4.50 per person (to cover insurance).
Membership Privileges Membership allows you to vote on where, when, and how we spend the funds we raise for our children. Members come up with ideas and vote on them.
