What is the site council?
The School Council is a representative body of people
who are elected from the Hudlow School Shared-Decision Making Community
as required by ARS
15-351. It consists of an administrator,
classified staff, teachers, parents, and community members following
guidelines set at the state level.
What does the site council
do?
Site Council makes recommendations to the school, and is responsible
for making decisions that support the school while improving student
achievement. Site
Council works to improve all aspects of Hudlow so that our school can
be the best school possible.
When does the council meet?
The meetings are once a month, after school from 2:30-3:30 in the
school library. This past year the meetings have been on the
third Tuesday of the month (Sept.- April)
Can I join the site
council?
We would love to have your expertise on our Site Council! New
members are elected at the beginning of each school year. Teachers
elect teacher. Parents elect parents. Most
community members volunteer their services.
Can I observe a meeting?
Site Council follows Open Meeting regulations. Anyone can
observe and listen to what is being discussed at any meeting.
