Welcome to the 6th grade Science Program at Mansfeld Middle School. Core Curriculum  units  consist of Weather and Water, Chemistry, Physical Science,  and Diversity of Life. Inquiry is stressed through the incorporation of hands –on activities, cooperative lab activities and research projects.  District and State standards are aligned with all lessons taught in class. Students learn how to, for example,  set up a science notebook,   develop a lab report, and create a conclusion statement based on a lab activity.   Students  involve other subject areas into science.
