Parent Drop off and Pick up

Drop off students in the designated "drop off" area.  This is located on the north-east side of campus by the 4th grade building.  Please pull up as far as you can so we can fit as many cars as possible.**The flagpole is not a designated drop off zone**
  School begins at 8:20 am.

Children may not be dropped off before 7:50 am.  We do not have campus supervision and the front gates are locked.

School dismisses at 2:30 pm everyday except Wednesdays when dismissal is at 1:30.

Message from the Principal

 Dear Miller Community,

We are now moving into fall and this school year is going by so quickly!  This month we will be taking our district benchmark assessments.  These assessments will give a good idea about what your children have learned so far this school year.  It is important that your child is at school and on time everyday so they don't miss valuable classroom instruction.  Students that have good attendance tend to have better grades and do better on their test scores because they aren't playing the catch up game.

With that said, we do understand that kids get sick and emergencies happen.  If your child is sick please keep them home so the illness doesn't spread.  If your child has a fever or is vomiting they need to be clear of both for 24 hours before returning to school.

Last, we have several events coming up so please be on the look out for important notices going home or parents link messages calling your phones.

November brings us Veteran's Day on the 11th.  There will be no school on this day.  On Friday November 18th, there will be no 21st Century afterschool program.  If your child is a part of this wonderful tutoring program, please mark this on your calendar.  Thanksgiving Break is November 24th and 25th.  We hope you enjoy this time with your family.
Teachers will be sending home monthly newsletters about their classroom.  This will provide you with "Up to the minute" information regarding both classroom and school news.  Be sure to also click on the newsletter section of our homepage to see a copy of the school's monthly newsletter.

Last, I hope that everyone has a great Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving Break.  Thank you for making the school year successful for your children and for us.
