Welcome To
Palo Verde’s Counseling Department

Students should see their counselors before school, after school, or during the lunch hour. Students can make an appointment to see their counselor at the above times and an appointment slip will be provided so that they are able to inform their teacher of their appointment. We encourage students to make appointments during elective periods!
All students reporting to the Counseling Office during class time must have their appointment slip or call slip.
Counselors are available daily from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. or by appointment.

Good Morning Titans!

Our seniors, like all of our students, will once again have a great week next week!

On Monday, September 12th we are hosting  “College Day”  here at PV from 10 -11:30 in the gym.  About 12 Colleges an Universities representatives will be here including our 3 state Universities!  They will all present information to our seniors about their colleges for 5 – 8 minutes each and then students will be able to meet the representatives at their tables, complete interest cards, discuss scholarship opportunities, and be informed on how to apply to these schools.

We ask that those of your who have senior classes please escort your 2nd period class to the gym just before 10:00 and remain with the class.  Those of you with seniors in your class please excuse your seniors and allow them 5 minutes to reach the gym.  If you have a 3rd period class with seniors or predominately seniors (please take attendance) join us in the gym during 3rd period and it is OK to bring the other students in your class.. the more who get this information the better!

By the way, you can begin encouraging all of our students that on October 5th from 6:30 – 9:30 to attend Tucson College Night at the TCC where over 150 colleges and universities from around the country will be present to share and encourage students to attend college.  There are lots of freebies, free parking, no entry fee and seniors can apply for a raffle scholarship that will be awarded to a senior at each TUSD school! (check the TUSD website for more information)

Have a great weekend….Go Titans!
