Below you will find the required content of your science notebook.  Notebooks will be graded quarterly and are worth 100 points (see grading rubric), which is 1/4 to 1/3 of your quarterly grade.

All students should have a "Student's Guide--Scientist's Notebook" taped in the front of their notebook.  We will follow the format on this sheet for doing labs.

The first few pages in your notebook should be a Table of Contents, with a minimum of a title and page number listed for each entry (the date could also be included).  The next 10 or more pages should be reserved for science facts.

After the science facts, your notebook should have the contents shown in the chart below.  Each page needs to have a title, the date, and a page number.
