In Hope, Arkansas on August 19, 1946, Virginia Cassidy gave birth to her son William Jefferson (Bill) Clinton. Along with her husband William Jefferson Bly III. Mr. Clinton was raised in Hope, Arkansas. His religion was Baptist. He went to school there and finished high school. For college he went to Georgetown University, and Rhodes Scholar, Oxford University, England and Yale University Law School. In 1973 to 1976 Mr. Clinton was a law professor at Arkansas University.

On October 11, 1975 Mr. Clinton met and married Hillary Diane Rodham. They had between them one child named Chelsea Clinton, who now is in college.

In 1977 to 1981 Mr. Clinton became the Attorney General in Arkansas. In that same year Mr. Clinton became Governor of Arkansas. He also ran for Governor in 1982 and was reelected. He was Governor for that time in the years 1983 to 1989. William Jefferson (Bill) Clinton was a democrat in the 1992 elections for president Mr. Clinton choose to run. He won those elections against George Bush, and H. Ross Perot. His electoral votes was the score of 370 and his popular votes were 43%. On January 20, 1993 Mr. Clinton along with his wife Hillary and their daughter took their place as the first family. In their new home the White House Washington DC In the 1996 elections Mr. Clinton choose to run for president again. In this election he also came in first. His electoral votes were 379 and his popular votes were 49%.
