PowerPoint Lessons

The following lessons were produced by the PATINS Project, Federal Grant/Project #14201-092-DY09, Indiana Department of Education, Division of Exceptional Learners. 

Select the lesson you would like to download. Be patient, it will take a few minutes to download. The lesson will begin once the download is complete. To stop the lesson press the Esc key. 

There are two ways to Save a PowerPoint lesson

The first way is to save it to My Documents folder, follow these steps:

  • After you view the presentation, right click on the name of the lesson above.
  • Left click on the words Save Target As... 
  • Click on the words My Documents, left hand side of the window.
  • Click on the word Save. 

The second way is to save the lesson to the Activities on 'inst_Server or Teachers on 'Inst_  Server.   If you save in either of these, then everyone in the school can open the lesson, students and teachers.

Elementary:   

  • Right click on the name of the lesson above. 
  • Left click on the words Save Target As... 
  • Click on the down arrow next to the Save in: box. 
  • Click on the words Activites on 'Inst_ 
  • Click on the word Save. 

Middle and High School: 

  • Right click on the name of the lesson above. 
  • Left click on the words Save Target As... 
  • Click on the down arrow next to the Save in: box. 
  • Click on the words Teachers on 'Inst_ 
  • Double click on your folder.
  • Double click on the Drop folder.
  • Click on the word Save

To Open The Lesson:

  • Click on the words My Documents from your desktop.

or

  • Double click on the icon My Computer on the desktop.
  • Click on the words Activities on 'Inst_ or Teachers on 'Inst_   (wherever you saved the lesson.) 
  • Double click on the PowerPoint lesson you want to open. 
  • The PowerPoint lesson opens in the slide view. To play the lesson, press the F5 key at the top of your keyboard or click on the word Slide Show from the menu bar and drag to View Show
  • Press the ESC key if you want to quit the lesson before it is finished. 
  • You can replay the lesson as many times as you like. 
  • When you are finished with the lesson, close the window
