This five-day institute for 7th and 8th grade Social Studies Teachers is sponsored by the Teaching American History Grant and will be conducted by Dr. Karen Anderson and the University of Arizona History Department. This institute will help teachers with the difficult time period transitions found in the Arizona State Standards for 7th and 8th-grade Social Studies. Participants are required to attend the 5 full days of the institute to receive the stipend.
