This is information regarding Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors—not only Seniors.

In addition to Principal Dr. Abel Morado, College Advisors from the Counseling Department will provide information and answer any questions you might have.
Come find out about:
· A planning timeline (what to do when).
· Testing (PSAT, SAT, ACT).
· The college application process.
· Financial aid.
· Scholarship opportunities.
· College representatives visiting our campus.
· JTED (Joint Technological Education District) Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century (what it is, who is eligible, what programs are available to your student)
The THMS Counseling Department can provide assistance so that college can become a reality for your student, can help determine what areas of interest he or she might wish to pursue and which colleges might be best suited to your student.
There are a variety of things for the student and his or her family to be thinking about and planning for.

The PTSC Board asks you to submit additional topics you would like to discuss with the principal, any particular school personnel, and other THMS community members during these scheduled meetings. If some specific issues arise during the year, they can be addressed at one of these forums.
