Tucson High Spirit Line has been raising the spirits of the sports in which they cheer for. Many down play their hard work and commitment but in reality these girls are all of that. Once the squads are picked they immediately start practices three times a week during the summer. Their practices run for at least two to three hours long. From conditioning, to going over cheers, tumbling, and stunting. Once their season officially starts in August, they begin what they call their “Hell Week”. For five straight days they show up at school at five in the morning until twelve in the afternoon. They condition for 2 hours, go over cheers for two hours, and choreograph time out cheers for the up coming football season. These girls are very dedicated and very hard working. Cheerleading is not just smiles and pretty uniforms. Their motto is “Cheerleaders are the
HARDEST working Athletes”.
