Career & Technical Education

We offer 15 CTE programs. We are the only public school to offer an Accounting program and a Commerical Art program that introduces students to airbrush techniques. Our Automotive Collision Repair is one of only two in the city, as is our Precision Machining program.

In addition we have Automotive Technology, Welding, PC Management & Maintenance, Sports Medicine, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Photography, Business Operations, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Publications for Business, Stage Management, and Bio Technology.

Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) related to their area of study. We offer DECA (an association for Marketing students) Future Business Leaders of America Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA), and SkillsUSA. Through CTSOs students can apply specific occupation and academic content knowledge. Opportunites are available to particpate in both regional, state and national competition.

Our CTE Career Center is located in T146 and is open to all students intested in completing a career/education plan as well as offering information regarding Pima Joint Technical Education District (JTED) courses offered at the central JTED sites as well as other satellite campuses.

JTED courses are open to all public, charter, private, and home school students who are eligible to attend high school. You'll find many opportunities to pursue your career and college goals at satellite locations on high schools campuses throughout Pima County, at Pima Community College, and our Central Campus Learning Facilities.
