THMS MAGNET ENDORSEMENT PLAN



An ENDORSEMENT is a specialized program of study in one of the Magnet areas. Completion of the indicated criteria will result in a Seal of Endorsement on the high school diploma and the permanent transcript. This is also a great opportunity to enhance both scholarship opportunities and job placement!

STUDENTS MUST GRADUATE WITH A 3.00 G. P.A.

Science Endorsement (S)

4 units in Science
4 units in Mathematics
2 units in Technology
Two of the following:
Advanced Placement Science or Mathematics course
Pima College Concurrent Credit Science course
Internship in Science area
Research project
Showcase Portfolio which includes:
Research project

TECHNOLOGY ENDORSEMENT

MATHEMATICS ENDORSEMENT

3.25 GPA average or better for all mathematics course
Participation in at least 3 mathematics contest exams (AATM and/or AMC)
Submit at least one mathematics project to the annual Mathematics/Science Fair (SARSEF)
