 Café Concert

             The café concert on November 24th was dynamite. It was a combination of Doolen students and Townsend students. Each performer had a chance to perform with their there instruments, such as: trumpet, clarinet, saxophone, drums, baritone, flute, bass, violin, viola and vocals. We had both orchestra and the band play. The band and orchestra performers volunteered to play,, but they had to make it through an audition to be able to perform. It was a truly wonderful event! You had to be there. The music was great, the snacks were delicious and the performances were fantastic! There were solos, duets, ensembles, and a couple of big groups that performed. There were even a few performances that had both Doolen and Townsend students performing together. It was packed with friends and family. There were about 20 Townsend students and 20 Doolen students. It was amazing, if you didn’t make it you could make it to the band and orchestra performance after the festival of lights on December 10th.
