Text Box: Healthy Foods
By: Victoria Duran

Follow up to the Fatty Foods article in last week’s news letter:
You can be a healthy person if you eat balanced meals and exercise everyday. A balanced meal is a meal with a balance of grains, fruits, vegetables, milk, meat and beans. Try to avoid foods that are fried. Instead of getting French fries you can get baked chips. You need to exercise everyday because when you exercise you are burning calories and getting fit. If you do these things you will be healthier and happier!

Delicious and Nutritious Foods:
You should eat fruits like watermelon, peaches, and pineapples as often as you can. They taste good and are god for you.
Vegetables like lettuce, cucumber, and broccoli have lots of vitamins that are good for you. Salads are super good for you!
Meats low in fat such as chicken and turkey are healthy choices.
Try and drink 8 cups of water a day.
Pretzels are a good choice when snacking.
Don't forget to order
