Technology

One goal of the Teaching American History Grant is to promote the integration of technology in the Social Studies classrooms of our participating lead teachers.

Every teacher has received a SMART Airliner (a wireless tablet version of the interactive whiteboard that teachers can walk around the classroom using) as well as a projector.

Teacher are also encouraged to use videos from UnitedStreaming, images from the Library of Congress, and other websites to engage students and reinforce their instruction.
